Congratulations, Mr. Larimer!😊
Archbishop Carroll's own Band Director, Zachary Larimer, will be getting married this upcoming Saturday, October 1! The students of the Carroll Music Department came together to congratulate him and throw a surprise party this past Wednesday, September 28, during eighth period. The party, planned by seniors Jennifer Estright and Brittany Young, was complete with a sheet cake, streamers, flowers, ring pops, and balloons. (The purple and gold balloons were representative of West Chester University, where Mr. Larimer and his fiancee first met!) Band members Michael Ziff, Steven Smith, and Conor Quinn provided traditional wedding music for Mr. Larimer's entrance to the party, where he was greeted with the entire choir and band. The choir proceeded to hum the famous wedding processional as conducted by Choir Director Mr. Jeremy Triplett. Mr. Larimer was then presented with a personalized collage including a drawn portrait of the couple by senior Michael Conwell, a Dunkin Donuts gift card, and a card signed by all in attendance.
