Lily's Hope Diaper Drive

Lily's Hope is a non-profit organization started by a young couple who have experienced, first hand, the difficulties of caring for a “preemie” and trying to handle family responsibilities and increased financial burdens. Preemies require special care and, often for very long periods of time. When parents of a preemie also have other young children to care for, life can become very complicated. In some cases, money is a real problem because supplies, especially diapers for preemies can be very expensive.

Lily’s Hope tries to help by providing gift cards to local restaurants, places like WAWA, and gas cards to help with fuel bills. Sometimes, they are able to give families clothing for the other children or a car seat. One of the biggest expenses is the diaper bill, and Preemie diapers have gone up in price about 30%.

Last year, Archbishop Carroll had its first Diaper Drive to support Lily’s Hope. We would like to conduct that drive again from February 20 to March 9, 2018.

The collection boxes will be placed outside the Chapel, by the Pro-Life Club members who sponsor this drive. Please place your donations in the boxes. We are particularly interested in “preemie” size diapers but “newborns” are useful, too. Pass the word to your friends and neighbors. Thank you so much for your help.
