Congratulations, Suzanne!

Congratulations to Suzanne Carpenter for being involved in a District 12 Orchestra competition! She auditioned back in the fall for District 12 orchestra and was ranked 15th out of 84 violinists and was the only Catholic school student to make it to districts. Students in District 12 come from Philadelphia, Delaware, and Chester Counties. They took 40 violinists, and due to her being in the top 20, she was placed in the first violin section. At the district festival, Suzanne re-auditioned for seating. Because she moved up one seat, she was accepted in Region 6 Orchestra. That festival will take place from March 22nd-24th under the direction of Thomas Hong, the orchestra conductor at Penn. The concert will be at New Hope-Solebury High School. She will be playing alongside students from Bucks and Montgomery Counties as well.
