V for Villanova, V for Victory!
Villanova won the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship this past Monday with an incredible buzzer beater by Kris Jenkins. The game was suspenseful as the lead alternated between the University of North Carolina Tar Heels and the Villanova Wildcats throughout the game. Nova led in the last minute, yet a "miracle shot" by UNC's Marcus Paige tied the game at 74-74. With only 4.7 seconds left in the game, Kris Jenkins made an incredible buzzer-beater 3, and the Wildcats won the game. Villanova students on campus gathered in the Pavilion, and celebrated the incredible win by storming Lancaster Ave. It is an incredible time to be a Wildcat!
