Carroll Band Honored In Hershey Competition

To kick off Memorial Day Weekend, the Archbishop Carroll Concert Band attended the High Note Festival Competition in Hershey, PA. First, they played in the Elizabethtown College auditorium, and performed two pieces, titled “Sundance” and “Guardians of the Galaxy.” The judges awarded the band with the “Superior Rating” award, receiving a 93 out of 100 points. The band excelled in categories such as intonation, balance, and repertoire. After playing, the band took the bus to Hershey park. Despite the heat and long lines, the band had tons of fun. We cannot wait for future competitions!
