Mr. Triplett's "Bridal Shower"
As the great Unknown once said, “Marriage lets you annoy one special person for the rest of your life.”
A huge congratulations to Mr. Jeremy Triplett who was recently married on June 11th. Jeremy Triplett joined the Carroll faculty this past fall but has a long history with music. This year he has managed many boys choirs while also leading the Archbishop John Carroll Chorus and has shown that he is extremely qualified to be an excellent choir director. To reward him for all of his hard work, on June 9th, the Archbishop Carroll Music Department threw him a surprise “bridal shower” to congratulate him on getting married. (Trust me, to us music kids, this “bridal shower” title is perfectly normal.)
With brass instruments sounding in the background and many choir students waiting at the door, we surprised Mr. Triplett with “hoorays” and “congratulations!” We sat Mr. Triplett down and read some congratulatory messages on behalf of the choir and band members. Then the students presented him a book composed of “best wishes” messages. We would like to thank Brittany Young for being the ultimate planner of this “bridal shower” and for providing the cake and decorations.
