Best Buddies Visits Elmwood Park Zoo! 🦁

The Best Buddies program builds relationships among Carroll students and the St. Katherine Day School’s students. This program recently took a trip to Elmwood Park Zoo in Norristown on October 23. During the visit, the students visited the animals and were given the opportunity to feed and pet them. We loved seeing the otters cuddle together, owls sleep, flamingos balance on one leg, and the jaguar jump from rock to rock. Some students had the option of face painting to become a creature to celebrate Halloween. The buddies topped the day off with ice cream. Despite the cold weather, everyone had a fun time observing the animals. We cannot wait for future Best Buddies events!
