Carroll Student Warms Hearts At Kitty Cottage Adoption Center🐱

As the Development Manager at Kitty Cottage Adoption Center in Norristown, PA, Archbishop Carroll Senior Melissa Gutierrez Gonzalez leaves a powerful pawprint. Melissa acts as the Public Relations Director of this Non-Profit, No-Kill Center by reaching out to prospective donors and maintaining relationships with current donors. She actively advertises the Cottage by managing all of its social media, keeping its website up-to-date, and frequently issuing press releases. Melissa manages and executes key fundraisers and builds the mailing list of invitees each time she plans a new event. A wearer of many hats, she also makes sure to keep track of the Cottage’s budget, expenditures, and donations. In current Kitty Cottage happenings, Melissa has created a fund aptly named “Home For The Holidays,” in which donations are accepted to go towards kitties with special needs.
